There were a lot of Lenins in the sculpture garden at different moments in his life and in a variety of different styles.  Something about Lenin’s proportions seem to have fascinated socialist sculptors in Bulgaria (and perhaps everywhere in the socialist bloc).  Even to Western eyes, Lenin seems to embody revolution.
